Jetbrains also has runs something called the "Early Access Program" where you can use their pre-release software. Sure, you can download IDEs such as Atom, Brackets, Sublime, etc but then it's up to you to find all the plugins, etc to make up a lot of the features that come with Webstorm out of the box, which wastes a lot of valuable time.Īre you a student by any chance? Or are apart of an open source project? Front End developer, I honestly can't think of another IDE that's as feature packed or has the same amount of support for Node.js. ![]() Not sure what your exact situation is at the moment but I'd say download the 30-day trial of the latest version and have another go. The reason why your not seeing support for Nodejs in Webstorm 7 is because your using an older version of Webstorm.
